The TCL C510DHG is a 10 KG tumble dryer using heat pump technology, which recycles the heat it generates rather than venting it away. That makes it markedly more energy efficient than a conventional vented or condenser dryer, and it means the machine does not need an external vent, so it can be installed almost anywhere with a power socket.

Heat pump drying works at an average drum temperature of around 50°C, low enough to protect delicate fabrics and elastics that a hot conventional dryer would damage over time.
